Acme Solar refinances Rs.2,147-Cr debt to lower borrowing costs
Gurugram-based Acme Solar Holdings has refinanced INR 2,147 crore in debt, redeeming non-convertible debentures (NCDs) issued by 12 operational special purpose vehicles that represent 450 MW of solar capacity. The financing was provided by the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID). This transaction also resulted in the full redemption of underlying offshore USD bonds held under an orphan structure.The firm maintains a total portfolio of 8,070 MW across solar, wind, hybrid, and storage solutions, with an operational contracted capacity of 2,990 MW. The company intends to use the savings from reduced interest rates to improve project cash flows and strengthen the long-term capital structure of the assets.
