ACME Solar’s arm secures Rs.3,184-Cr from REC

Gurugram-based renewable energy player ACME Hybrid Urja Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, has secured INR 3,184 crore in project funding from state-owned REC Ltd, which will also serve as the sole lender for the project for 18 years.The new funds will be used for the development & construction of a 280 MW Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy Project (FDRE), which has been contracted with NHPC. The company signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with NHPC at a tariff of INR 4.64/unit.ACME Solar Holdings Ltd runs a portfolio comprising solar, wind, storage, hybrid, and Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) projects.

Between Sep 2014 and Apr 2025, ACME Solar Holdings had attracted about USD 375 M from IFU, IFC and others.
