Ampin Energy gets Rs.742-Cr loan from Stanchart for 200 MW solar-wind project

Ampin Energy Transition has secured an INR 742 crore (USD 89 million) loan from Standard Chartered Bank for its 200 MW solar-wind hybrid project in Rajasthan. It is expected to generate over 435 million units of clean energy on an annual basis offsetting 71,66,223 tonnes of CO2 per year.The total investment for this project is valued at INR 944 crore (USD 113 million). The energy generated would be supplied to 74,486 households.Ampin has a portfolio of 4 GW clean energy projects spread across 21 states in India.

Between Aug 2019 and May 2024, AMPIN Energy Transition had raised about USD 435 M from responsAbility, AIIB, Intermediate Capital Group, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Lightrock India.
