Bank of Baroda raises Rs.10,000-Cr via green infra bonds

Bank of Baroda has raised INR 10,000 crore through the issuance of Series I Long-Term Green Infrastructure Bonds.The issue received bids of INR 16,415 crore-over three times the base issue size of INR 5,000 crore with a greenshoe option of INR 5,000 crore-and was priced at 7.10% coupon.With this, BoB has become the first bank in India to issue a domestic Green Infrastructure Bond.

For FY24, Bank Of Baroda had reported about INR 112,606 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 17,789 Cr in PAT.
