Capitaland India Trust raises Rs.915-Cr in first onshore bond issuance
CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT) has raised INR 915 crore through its first onshore bond issuance in India. This move is expected to deliver a 3.8% distribution per unit (DPU) accretion.The company plans to increase its India-based loan book from the current 16% to 40-50%, translating to between SGD 800 million and SGD 1 Billion, in the next three years as existing offshore tenors mature. CLINT is expanding its office and data center portfolios, including a forward purchase agreement for a 1.1 million sq ft office space in North Bengaluru with MAIA Estates, with an investment of INR 1,000 crore and an expected completion in 2028.
