Edelweiss Financial Services to raise Rs.300-Cr via NCDs

Mumbai-based, publicly listed Edelweiss Financial Services has announced a public issue of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) to raise INR 300 crore. The issue has a base size of INR 150 crore, with a green shoe option to retain an additional INR 150 crore.The company offers NCDs with tenures of 24, 36, 60 and 120 months, featuring annual, monthly and cumulative interest options. The effective annual interest yield on these instruments ranges from 8.64% to 10.00%. The issue is scheduled to open on September 21, 2026, and will close on October 05, 2026.Founded in 1995 by Rashesh Shah and Venkat Ramaswamy, Edelweiss Financial Services operates across multiple business segments through its subsidiaries, including retail and corporate credit, mutual funds, alternative asset management, asset reconstruction and life and general insurance.The firm intends to use at least 75% of the proceeds for the repayment or prepayment of interest and principal on existing borrowings.

Between Nov 2019 and Dec 2019, Edelweiss Global Investment Advisors had attracted about USD 132 M from Kora Management, Edelweiss Private Equity and Sanaka Capital.For FY25, Edelweiss Global Investment Advisors had reported about INR 1,354 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 598 Cr in PAT.
