Fiber connectivity provider Lightstorm raises Rs.2,500-Cr debt from IndusInd Bank

Singapore-based Lightstorm Telecom Connectivity , a network infrastructure company backed by private equity firm I Squared Capital, has raised INR 2,500 crore in a long-term debt facility from IndusInd Bank.Founded in 2020, the company provides network-as-a-service solutions to enterprises, hyperscalers, and artificial intelligence infrastructure providers. Lightstorm plans to use the capital to construct network infrastructure across the southern corridor of India and expand its subsea cable system to Southeast Asia, Japan, and the US.The 10-year facility is intended to optimise the company's capital structure and support its expansion plans. As of December 2025, the company operated over 30,000 kms of terrestrial fibre and 21,000 kms of subsea fibre, linking more than 100 data centres globally.

For FY25, Lightstorm Telecom Connectivity had reported about INR 465 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 103 Cr in Net Loss.
