Fresh foods brand Country Delight raises Rs.200-Cr from Alteria Capital

Gurugram-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) fresh foods brand Country Delight has raised INR 200 crore in venture debt from Alteria Capital. The new funds will be used to fuel the company’s expansion, increase capacity, and drive brand marketing efforts.Founded in 2015 by Chakradhar Gade and Nitin Kaushal, Country Delight offers direct-to-home delivery of milk, ghee, paneer, fruits, and vegetables under a daily subscription model. Earlier this year, it raised around INR 164 crore in equity funding from Temasek. The company was valued at USD 804 million as of July 31.
