IIFCL raises $200-M via ECB
New Delhi-headquartered India Infrastructure Finance Company (IIFCL) has raised USD 200 million from international markets. The transaction represents a portion of the company’s USD 1.8 Billion external commercial borrowing (ECB) programme.The state-run infrastructure financing firm intends to use the proceeds from its ECB programme to mobilise long-term resources for the infrastructure sector and support projects with long gestation periods.The financing was completed through two separate USD 100 million transactions. Under its current USD 1.8 Billion programme, the company plans to raise approximately USD 1 Billion in multiple tranches with tenors extending up to 15 years through the MIGA Guarantee Facility.
For FY25, IIFCL had reported about INR 6,186 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 2,164 Cr in PAT.
