NBFC firm Capri Global Capital raises $300-M in US dollar bond issue

Mumbai-based non-banking financial company (NBFC) Capri Global Capital has raised USD 300 million through US dollar bond issuance. The transaction consists of senior secured notes maturing in 2029 with an annual coupon rate of 7.55%. The issuance was oversubscribed more than 2.3 times, attracting an order book exceeding USD 700 million from 64 investors.Founded in 2011 by Rajesh Sharma, Capri Global Capital provides a range of secured and collateralized loans across four primary lending segments that is Gold Loans, MSME Loans, Construction Finance and Housing Loans.The company intends to utilize the proceeds from this fundraising to support its business growth. The financing serves to diversify the firm’s funding profile by accessing international capital markets alongside its domestic sources.
