SBI raises $500-M via 5-yr USD bonds

Mumbai-based State Bank of India (SBI) has raised USD 500 million through a five-year dollar-denominated bond issue. The transaction attracted an order book exceeding USD 2 Billion at its peak, allowing the lender to price the bonds at a coupon of 5.25%. The bonds are due on August 18, 2031. The bonds were issued through the London branch of the bank.
