Seafood seller Captain Fresh to raise Rs.45-Cr from Lighthouse Canton, Stride Ventures

Bengaluru-based seafood supply chain company Captain Fresh is to raise INR 45 crore (USD 5.3 million) from Lighthouse Canton and Stride Ventures, through 4,500 non-convertible debentures (NCDs) with a face value of INR 1,00,000 apiece.Founded in 2020 by Utham Gowda, Captain Fresh supplies meat and seafood to sellers across India and international markets, including the Middle East, Europe and the USA.

Between Aug-20 and Apr-25, Captain Fresh had attracted about USD 216 M from Trifecta Capital, Ankur Capital, Incubate Fund Asia, Z47, ADB, Accel India, Prosus Ventures, Tiger Global, Evolvence, British International Investment and others.For FY24, Captain Fresh had reported about INR 1,395 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 229 Cr in Net Loss.
