Yes Bank, Federal Bank, RBL Bank delay dollar bond issuances

Yes Bank has withdrawn its plan to raise USD debt through the sale of international bonds. The decision follows demands from investors for higher yields, coupled with the proximity of the deadline to raise foreign currency deposits via the Reserve Bank of India’s special swap window.Federal Bank and RBL Bank have also decided to postpone their planned dollar bond issuances. These firms are currently awaiting more favourable market conditions to raise capital, as an oversupply of bonds from India has resulted in a spike in investor demand for higher yields.

Between Feb 2004 and Aug 2022, YES Bank had attracted about $1,545-M from JC Flowers, Advent International, Carlyle, White Oak Capital Management, WestBridge, Others.For FY26, YES Bank had reported about INR 30,169 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 3,476 Cr in PAT.Between Mar 2006 and Oct 2025, Federal Bank had attracted about $999-M from IFC, Blackstone, Others.For FY25, Federal Bank had reported about INR 26,365 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4,051 Cr in PAT.Between Feb 2010 and Feb 2022, RBL Bank had attracted about $1000-M from British International Investment , EQT Private Capital Asia, Gaja Capital, ADB, Aditya Birla PE, Ascent Capital, Faering Capital, Others.For FY25, RBL Bank had reported about INR 14,039 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 695 Cr in PAT.
