ADB to fund French agri-commodities firm LDC's South Asia expansion
Asian Development Bank (ADB) and French firm Louis Dreyfus Company BV's (LDC) have signed a USD 100 million (around INR 760 crore) loan pact. The loan will support LDC's operations in India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam by financing coffee, cotton, and rice inventories for over 50,000 smallholders.
