Agri-logistics co. WayCool raises $12-M from Anicut Capital
Chennai-based WayCool Foods has raised USD 12 million (INR 100 crore) from Anicut Capital via d ebentures.Founded by Karthik Jayaraman and Sanjay Dasari, WayCool sources fresh produce and dairy products from farmers, distributing them to retailers and restaurants. The company also distributes private label products, besides partnering with FMCG companies to help them manage their supply chains.
Between Mar-17 and Mar-23, WayCool has raised USD 247 M from Lightrock India, Caspian Advisors, FMO, IFMR trust, Lightbox, Redwood Equity Partners, Lightsmith Group, Pivot Ventures,GAWA Microfinance Fund, IFC, 57 Stars,Trifecta Capital and others.
