Capital Infra Trust raises Rs.2,363-Cr

Gurugram-based infrastructure investment trust Capital Infra Trust is raising INR 2,363 crore through debt securities.The trust allotted 1,16,300 senior secured redeemable, non-convertible debt securities (NCDs), each with a face value of INR 1,00,000, aggregating to INR 1,163 crores and 1,20,000 secured listed redeemable non-convertible debt securities (NCDs) on a private placement basis, each with a face value of INR 1,00,000, totalling INR 1,200 crore.The NCDs were fully subscribed by India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL) and ICICI Bank.Established in 2023, Capital Infra Trust InvIT is sponsored by Gawar Construction Ltd and has investments in infrastructure projects primarily in NHAI road projects through acquisition from sponsors and third parties.
