Cloud kitchen startup Curefoods gets $10-M from Binny Bansal, Jitender Kumar Bansal
Bengaluru-based cloud kitchen startup Curefoods has raised USD 9.6 million (INR 80 crore) in debt from Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal and Jitender Kumar Bansal by way of an unsecured deposit.Founded in 2020 by former Flipkart executive Ankit Nagori, Curefoods is engaged in on-demand food supply by operating cloud kitchens. It operates brands such as EatFit, CakeZone, Sharief Bhai, Nomad Pizza, Frozen Bottle, Olio, Rolls on Wheels, Great Indian Khichdi, Home Plate, Juno's Pizza and Ovenfresh.
Between Aug 2021 and Jan 2024, Curefoods had raised over USD 181 M from RB Investments, Three State Ventures, Chiratae Ventures, Iron Pillar, Winter Capital, Alteria Capital, Accel India, NB Ventures, Pivot Ventures, BlackSoil Capital, Sixteenth Street Capital, Trifecta Capital, Nordstar, Rukam Capital and others.
