Compressed biogas projects developer IGRPL raises Rs.836-Cr from Indian Bank

New Delhi-based IOC GPS Renewables Pvt Ltd (IGRPL) has raised INR 836 crore in debt financing from Indian Bank.Founded in 2024, IOC GPS Renewables (IGRPL) is a 50:50 joint venture between Indian Oil Corporation and GPS Renewables with a focus on CBG (Compressed Bio Gas) projects using paddy straw, cow dung, napier grass and municipal solid waste.The fresh funds will be used by the company for the development of CBG plants across India, with four projects in Haryana, three in Uttar Pradesh, one in Chhattisgarh and one in Andhra Pradesh, each with a capacity of 15 tonnes of CBG per day. All the plants are expected to be completed and commissioned in 2026.
