Delhi Airport raises Rs.1,000-Cr from NIIF Fund, Barclays, Aditya Birla Finance

Barclays Bank, Aditya Birla Finance and a fund owned by National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) have provided an INR 1,000-crore debt facility to Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL). The trio invested in 5-year bonds of the GMR Group-promoted company, carrying a 9.52% coupon for the first three years and 9.98% for the remaining two years. Barclays Bank invested INR 500 crore, Aditya Birla Finance, INR 150 crore, and Aseem Infrastructure Finance, an NIIF fund, INR 350 crore. ICRA has assigned an A+ rating to the bonds.
