Dialysis network NephroPlus to get Rs.69.5-Cr loan from ADB to expand in Uzbekistan

NephroPlus, a Hyderabad-based dialysis network, has signed an INR 69.5 crore financing package with Asian Development Bank (ADB) to further its expansion plans in Uzbekistan by building four large dialysis centres. The transaction is a broader partnership with the Union Ministry of Health, the Republic of Uzbekistan, in which NephroPlus won a contract worth USD 100 million to independently commission and operationalize these centres. The transaction comprises a loan of INR 41.7 crores from ADB's ordinary capital resources and administration by ADB of a loan of INR 27.8 crores from Leading Asia's Private Infrastructure Fund (LEAP). NephroPlus will provide dialysis care to over 1,100 patients in Uzbekistan. It has established a 100% owned local subsidiary to operate the centres for this project. . NephroPlus operates over 300 dialysis centres in more than 180 cities across 4 countries. The company claims to treat 22,000+ patients per month.
