Digital lender DMI Finance raises Rs.1,455-Cr via NCDs

New Delhi-based non-banking financial company (NBFC) DMI Finance has raised INR 1,455 crore through the issuance of secured, listed Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The issuance received aggregate bids of INR 1,630 crore from investors. Morgan Stanley acted as the advisor on the structuring of the issuance.Founded in 2008 by Shivashish Chatterjee and Yuvraja C. Singh, DMI Finance provides credit products to customers. The firm plans to use the proceeds to support the growth of its lending portfolio and meet its funding requirements.

Between Oct 2011 and Aug 2024, DMI Finance had attracted about USD 1152 M from NIS New Investment Solutions, Burman Family Office, NXC Corp, MUFG Innovation Partners and others.For FY25, DMI Finance had reported about INR 3,097 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 5.31 Cr in PAT.
