HDFC Bank raises $1.75 B via overseas bonds

Mumbai-based HDFC Bank has raised USD 1.75 Billion in senior unsecured bonds through its GIFT City branch. The transaction consists of USD 500 million in notes with a coupon rate of 5.159% maturing in three years and USD 1.25 Billion in five-year paper with a coupon rate of 5.4%. These instruments will be listed on the India INX and NSE International Exchange.
For FY26, HDFC Bank had reported about INR 307,522 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 74,671 Cr in PAT.
