IFC invests $75-M in NDR InvIT’s sustainability-linked bonds

International Finance Corporation (IFC) has invested USD 75 million (about INR 630 crore) in sustainability linked bonds (SLB) issued by Mumbai-headquartered NDR InvIT , an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) sponsored by NDR Warehousing Pvt Ltd. The SLB, in domestic currency, is claimed to be the first by a warehousing InvIT in India.This funding will be used for warehouse expansion, and to improve infrastructure, and promote eco-friendly practices, including EDGE Certification for existing facilities.
