Lender to MSMEs Credit Saison India raises $300-M
Bengaluru-headquartered Credit Saison India (CS India), a non-bank lender backed by Japan's institutional investors, has raised USD 300 million (INR 2,600 crore) via its maiden dollar loan in India.CS India plans to use the funding to expand branches and add new lending segments like MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) and loan against property to grow its INR 17,000-crore loan book, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 towns.
