Men's premium apparel brand Barcelona raises Rs.5-Cr from GetVantage
Barcelona, an Ahmedabad-based fashion and apparel brand for men, has raised INR 5 crore from revenue based financing platform GetVantage. The funds will be used to open around 50 outlets across India, and in stepping up marketing efforts. Barcelona has also roped in Sonu Sood as its brand ambassador. Founded in 2015 by Jaimin Gupta, Barcelona is a premium men's apparel brand that caters to all kinds of clothes ranging from shirts, t-shirts, jeans, trousers, shorts, and other fashion accessories. Barcelona claims to have over 130 Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) in over 70 cities. It claims to have over 7,000 garment retailers registered on the app. The company has filed for an IPO. It closed FY 23 with a revenue of INR 175 crore.
