NBFC SMFG India secures 91-M euros from Deutsche Bank
Deutsche Bank has provided a three-year sustainability-linked loan of EUR 91 million (approx INR 813 crore) to non-banking financial company SMFG India Credit . The funds will be deployed by the Indian arm of Japan's SMFG for on-lending towards small businesses and women borrowers in underserved semi-urban areas. The senior secured loan was facilitated via Deutsche Bank's Gift City Branch.The company has over 1,000 branches and nearly INR 50,000 crore of assets under management (AUM) as of September.
