NBFC Vistaar Finance to raise $50-M from US DFC
Bengaluru-headquartered Vistaar Financial Services, a non-banking financial company controlled by private equity firm Warburg Pincus, is set to raise USD 50 million in debt from US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). The debt deal comes a month after Warburg Pincus acquired a 90% stake in Vistaar for USD 250 million, through a combination of primary and secondary shares. Founded by Brahmanand Hegde and Ramakrishna Nishtala in 2010, Vistaar claims to manage assets worth INR 2,600 crore.
