Panacea Biotec gets $20-M from US govt for hexavalent vaccine capacity expansion

The US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is to provide a long-term loan of USD 20 million to New Delhi-headquartered Panacea Biotec for capacity-expansion of its hexavalent vaccine.DFC’s financing will enable Panacea to expedite completion of the ongoing expansion and supply the hexavalent vaccine to United Nations (UN) agencies for childhood immunisation globally.Panacea Biotec is expanding manufacturing capacity for drug substance antigens used in its hexavalent vaccine EasySix.
