SC tells NCLT to decide on Jaypee Infra resolution plan in 2 mths
As the matter pertaining to the resolution plan to take over debt ridden Jaypee Infratech Ltd is pending before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) for its approval for more than three months, the Supreme Court has asked the NCLT to decide it within two months. The insolvency proceedings against the real estate company was initiated way back in 2017 but it could not be finalised due to various reasons and multiple rounds of litigations in the NCLT and the SC.
