Tata Steel gets 2-B euros in Dutch government aid for green shift
Tata Steel Netherlands has secured EUR 2 Billion in funding from the Dutch government to transition to low-carbon steel production. The steelmaker signed a non-binding agreement with the government of the Netherlands to transition to low-carbon steelmaking and cleaner operations at the IJmuiden plant.This follows a GBP 500 million grant from the UK for a similar project.
