Thermal power plant owner Meja Urja Nigam raises Rs.250-Cr loan from PNB

UP-based Meja Urja Nigam Pvt Ltd () has received financial assistance of INR 250 crore from Punjab National Bank. The funds will be usMUNPLed towards financing the existing loans. MUNPL is a 50:50 joint venture (JV) of state-owned NTPC Ltd and Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (UPRVUNL). Its Meja Thermal Power Plant (MTPP) is Uttar Pradesh's first supercritical power plant.
