Vedanta raises Rs.2,575-Cr through non-convertible debenture (NCD)

Natural resources conglomerate Vedanta Limited has raised INR 2,575 crore through a three-year non-convertible debenture (NCD) issuance, with a coupon of approximately 8.95%. The issue was placed with institutional investors, including mutual funds. Barclays and Citigroup arranged the bond sale.The fresh funds will be used by the company for restructuring existing liabilities and addressing upcoming debt maturities.
