Mining conglomerate Vedanta has raised INR 2,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The transaction involves the allotment of 200,000 unsecured, redeemable, rated, and listed debentures with a face value of INR 1 lakh each.
