Vernacular digital content platform Pratilipi raises Rs.20-Cr from Alteria
Venture debt fund Alteria Capital has invested INR 20 crore in Bengaluru-based vernacular digital platform Pratilipi. The company will use the money to expand its user base through investments in marketing. Pratilipi is a storytelling platform that primarily focuses on Indian languages, including Bengali, Marathi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Urdu, Telugu and English.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Between Feb-16 and Apr-20, Pratilipi had raised more than INR 215 crore from Shunwei Capital, Tencent, Omidyar Network, Nexus Venture Partners, Qiming Venture, WEH Ventures and Contrarian Drishti.
