Vodafone Idea appoints SBI Cap to negotiate loan recast of up to Rs.23,000-Cr

Vodafone Idea has appointed SBI Capital Markets to negotiate the restructuring of loans worth INR 20,000-23,000 crore that the loss-making telco is due to repay within the next four years. The cash-strapped company has also sought an additional USD 0.5 Billion as loans for capex requirements critical to expand its 4G network.
