‘Eurokids’ parent in talks to acquire 2 schools for Rs.600-Cr
Mumbai-based Lighthouse Learning is in the process of acquiring the Hyderabad-based Meru International School and the Bengaluru-based Millennium World School for INR 600 Cr. The Hyderabad-based school chain would be bought for between INR 450 Cr and INR 500 Cr, while the Bengaluru-based school is being purchased for INR 100 Cr.Founded in 1997 by Prajodh Rajan and Vikas Phadnis, Lighthouse Learning provides education in the pre-primary and K-12 segments across India. Lighthouse operates through core brands including Eurokids, Kangaroo Kids, and Mother’s Pet in the preschool segment, as well as EuroSchool, Billabong High, Centre Point, and Heritage in the K-12 segment.
Between Mar 2013 and Nov 2025, Lighthouse Learning had attracted about $ 849 M from KKR, PSP Investments, Gaja Capital, Partners Group and others.For FY25, Lighthouse Learning had reported about INR 803 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 8 Cr in PAT.
