ABB India to transfer robotics biz to ABB Robotics for Rs.1,568-Cr

Electrification and automation solutions provider ABB India is to transfer its robotics business to Bengaluru-based ABB Robotics India for INR 1,568.20 crore on a slump sale basis. ABB India's public shareholders provided approval on February 27.ABB Robotics India provides advanced robotic systems, software, and automation solutions to enhance productivity and sustainability across industries like automotive, electronics, and food processing. It specializes in industrial robots, collaborative robots (cobots), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and digital twin technology.
