Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality (ABNAH) has acquired 100% stake in Mumbai-headquartered KA Hospitality. The acquisition has led to the addition of four restaurant brands: Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai and CinCin to the portfolio of ABNAH, which will expand its presence with seven more restaurants across three cities. ABNAH aims to create premium casual dining restaurant chains across India. Founded in 2011 by Kishor Bajaj, KA Hospitality owns the home-grown brand CinCin and has the franchise rights to the other three global restaurant brands. Its first enterprise was Hakkasan Mumbai, a Michelin-awarded establishment from London with outposts in the Middle-East, Asia and USA. After Hakkasan, the company brought down Yauatcha, London's famous dim sum and tea house to Mumbai. In 2017, KA brought in Nara, Bangkok's go-to Thai institution.
