Aimtron acquires US-based electronics system design player ICS Company in $17-M deal

Vadodara-based Aimtron Electronics Ltd has acquired Decatur, IL (USA)-based ICS Company , an electronics system design and manufacturing firm, for USD 17 million.ICS Company serves global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including Caterpillar and John Deere, across industrial and mission-critical segments. The acquired business is projected to generate about USD 17 million in revenue based on 2025 estimates, with Aimtron targeting an increase to around USD 25 million in three years.ICS operates a 58,000-sq ft manufacturing facility, which Aimtron intends to scale from its current 54% capacity utilisation to about 90% over three years through improved procurement and targeted capacity expansion.
