Alkem Labs acquires 2 cos. In skincare, medical devices segments for Rs.287-Cr

Publicly-listed Alkem Laboratories is to acquire 100% stake of fellow Mumbai-based Adroit Biomed, a pharmaceutical company in the skincare segment, for around INR 140 crore. Adroit’s portfolio includes brands Glutone, SkinFay, Racine and FortiSil. It had a revenue of INR 53.55 crore in the financial year ended March 2024.Alkem’s subsidiary Alkem MedTech is to acquire 100% stake in Rajkot-based orthopaedic implants maker Bombay Ortho Industries for around INR 147 crore.
