Allcargo Logistics acquires KWE's 30% in Gati-Kintetsu Express for Rs.406-Cr

Publicly listed Allcargo Logistics Ltd has completed the acquisition of 1.50 lakh shares (representing a 30% stake) in Gati-Kintetsu Express (GKEPL) for INR 406.71 crore. Allcargo's subsidiary, Gati, already holds 70% in GKEPL, an express logistics player, with a presence in surface express and air express distribution and supply chain management solutions. The deal includes purchasing 1.3 lakh shares (26%) from KWE-Kintetsu World Express (S) Pte Ltd and 20,000 shares (4%) from KWE Kintetsu Express India. With the conclusion of this transaction, Allcargo, along with Gati, now holds 100% of GKEPL and assumes complete control.
