Anupam Rasayan acquires US-based Jayhawk Fine Chemicals for $150-M

Surat, Gujarat-based, publicly listed Anupam Rasayan India Ltd is to acquire a 100% equity stake in Kansas, KS (USA)-based specialty chemical company Jayhawk Fine Chemicals Corporation for USD 150 million. The acquisition will be financed through a combination of internal accruals, debt, and quasi equity from a global investment management firm.The acquisition marks Anupam Rasayan’s entry into onshore manufacturing in theUS. This transaction aligns with Anupam Rasayan’s long-term strategy to expand its global Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) presence and establish a stronger position in the U.S. and global specialty chemicals market.
