Autocomp player Uno Minda to acquire German partner's 49.9% stake in JV for Rs.195-Cr

Gurgaon based auto components manufacturer Uno Minda is to acquire the 49.9% stake held in joint venture firm UnoMinda EV Systems by German's FRIWO Geratebau GmbH, for INR 195 crore.Uno Minda through its subsidiaries will also acquire the intellectual property rights and R&D assets relating to the e-drive business technologies from FRIWO's locations in Germany and Vietnam. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of Q1FY26.Set up in 2021 by Uno Minda and FRIWO, UnoMinda EV Systems offers full line e-drive solutions for the Indian market.
