Bharti Airtel to acquire 5% addl stake in Indus Towers for Rs.5,000-Cr

Telecom major Bharti Airtel's board has approved the acquisition of an additional 5% stake in its Gurugram-based telecom infrastructure subsidiary, Indus Towers , at over INR 5,000 crore.As of September 30, Bharti Airtel held a 51.03% stake in Indus Towers, with public shareholders, including mutual funds and Life Insurance Corporation of India, holding 48.93%.
