Cloudnine Hospitals to acquire Apollo’s maternity, fertility businesses for Rs.1,550-Cr

Bengaluru-based Cloudnine Hospitals is to acquire the maternity and fertility business of Apollo Health and Lifestyle. The transaction, structured through a combination of cash and equity, values the target business at approximately INR 1,550 crore. Upon completion of the deal, Apollo Health and Lifestyle will hold a 9.9% stake in the combined entity and secure a board seat via a nominee director.Founded in 2006, Cloudnine Hospitals is a maternity and paediatric care chain that operates 40 centers. The acquisition of the Apollo Cradle and Apollo Fertility brands will expand the merged platform's network to more than 55 centers across India. It plans to use the unified platform to enhance access to specialised maternity, neonatal, and women’s healthcare services across various geographies and income segments.

Between May 2016 and Jul 2024, Apollo Health & Lifestyle had attracted about $ 83 M from IFC.For FY25, Apollo Health & Lifestyle had reported about INR 689 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 4 Cr in PAT.
