DCM Shriram acquires Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals for Rs.375-Cr

New Delhi-headquartered DCM Shriram, which operates across chemicals, agri-rural, and value-added businesses, has acquired 100% equity stake in Bharuch, Gujarat-based Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Ltd (HSCL) for INR 375 crore.HSCL, incorporated in 2003, makes and sells solid and liquid epoxy resins, reactive diluents, formulated epoxy resins and curing agents. For FY24, it reported a turnover of INR 295 crore, down from INR 363 in the previous fiscal.
