Desi Farms acquires Suruchi Dairy for Rs.130-Cr
Pune-based D2C (direct-to-consumer) dairy brand Desi Farms has acquired a 51% stake in fellow Pune-based Suruchi Dairy for INR 130 crore in an all-cash deal. The company will acquire the remaining 49% stake next month.Founded in 1997, Suruchi Dairy processes up to 3.5 lakh litres of milk daily, producing a wide variety of fresh dairy items such as pouch milk, ghee, paneer, chilled flavoured milk, milk powder, shrikhand, and curd.
In Jun 2021, Desi Farms had raised funding from Venture Catalysts Angels and other groups of angel investors.
