Edtech unicorn Physics Wallah invests Rs.500-Cr in Kerala's Xylem Learning for majority stake
Edtech unicorn Physics Wallah (PW) has entered into a strategic partnership with Kozhikode-based edtech firm Xylem Learning, under which it plans to invest INR 500 crore over the next three years, in return for a majority stake. Xylem Learning claims to provide free classes to over three million students through its 30 YouTube channels. Additionally, it has more than one lakh paid students across its various online courses and 30,000 students in its offline or hybrid centres located across five districts of Kerala. It also operates 10 tuition centres and a school-integrated program across seven schools.
