Electronics products maker Dixon to acquire Bharti's telecom gear plant in Ludhiana

Electronic products manufacturer Dixon Technologies is to acquire a Ludhiana-based manufacturing unit of Bharti Group to make telecom gear under the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme announced for the sector. The company plans to invest INR 200 crore under the PLI scheme for the sector, and this investment includes the acquisition cost of Bharti Group's manufacturing unit.
