Emami hikes stake in beauty products co Brillare Sciences to 57.4%
Kolkata-headquartered, publicly listed Emami Ltd has acquired a majority stake in Ahmedabad-based Brillare Sciences through the conversion of compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) into equity shares. Post the conversion, the Kolkata-based entity saw its shareholding increase to 57.36%, from the previous 34.70%. Brillare Science Pvt Ltd., is a professional beauty care company offering products in skin, hair & body care for professional salon and home use. It owns the Brillare Science and Root Deep brands. In FY21, it had posted a revenue of about INR 9.76 crore.
